The Antikabir is the eternal resting place of Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
It is built on Rasattepe which overlooks Ankara and was designed by Prof. Emin Onat and Assoc. Prof. Orhan Arda.
It was completed in 1953 and Atatürk was buried there in November 1953.
The Mausoleum is adorned with statues, relief's and embellishments created by many of Turkey's artists.
