The Trip To and From Machu Picchu

You get there, from Cusco, by rail or bus and rail. There are no roads and no airport.

Little farming village at 12,000 feet. Lots of things do grow.

Rest stop of wealthy artist.

Ollayantambo is the end of the road. From here you must take the train to Machu Picchu. This town is unchanged and was NOT modified by the Spanish.
